8. 5 tips for beginners to get that perfect body?
• The first tip would definitely be to stay consistent in your dieting & training! Nobody will see results instantly , if it were that easy , everybody would be walking around with beach bodies. It is a journey !
• If you are dieting down or trying to bulk up, ensure that you are tracking your calories & eating in a reasonable calorie deficit/surplus , if you don’t know what’s going into your body , chances are , you’re either eating too much or too little.
• Start off small. Don’t ego lift just because the guy next to you is slightly stronger. Remember ,you don’t need to be the strongest guy in the room to have the best body!
• Set mini goals & work towards them ! Whether it’s a PR (personal record) lift or just the number that you’d like to see go up or down on the scale at the end of the month , those little wins will be the fuel that drives you to do it again!
• Don’t compare yourself to others who have been in the game for a long time , it will demotivate you , especially if they are secretly using performance enhancing drugs & thus setting unrealistic expectations for beginners. Focus on yourself, we are all running our own race.
