ILLOVO – Age groups range from five to 17 years so there is sure to be a team for your cricketer.

 

It is time to dust off your bats as the Wanderers junior cricket season gets underway.

With more than 150 boys and girls playing in 10 teams in the Lions Cricket junior leagues, the Wanderers Cricket Club continues to provide a unique cricketing experience for aspiring cricketers.

According to the junior section’s Graham McMillian, Wanderers offers many various options, from Saturday morning practice sessions through to weekday practices.

“We offer various other cricketing options from a summer league, a winter league, numerous other tournaments, tours and other formats of cricket,” he said.

Age groups range from five to 17 years so there is sure to be a team for your cricketer.

Club chairman Frank Auger added that the club prided itself in upholding the spirit of cricket.

“We aim to provide an environment for cricket participation, enjoyment, learning and success, whilst promoting sportsmanship and excellence on the field and in the wider community,” Auger concluded.
