The construction of the BRT stations between Katherine Street and Sandton Drive is expected to start soon.

As part of its Tourism Month celebrations, the City of Johannesburg will be unveiling a new bus rapid transport station in the heart of the city, which will be located between Katherine Street and the Sandton Drive. The station, which will be operated by the JDA.

“It will involve the relocation of existing services, widening roadworks and a median station building when the roadworks have been advanced,” said the JDA’s Kenneth Nxumalo.

The overall project is earmarked for 15 months.

“Further communication will be issued to update affected parties in the public on the project progress and issues encountered,” said Nxumalo.Predict
